It has been a busy year here at Mortgage Gumbo! Aside from guiding people to the mortgage loans that are perfect for them to our helpful home tips, this year has been an eventful one for us Mortgage Gumbo. We proudly celebrated our 5-Year Anniversary. This September marked 5 amazingly awesome years of bringing our listeners the premier mortgage program. We assisted thousands of listeners with all their mortgage needs and aired over 200 live shows.
2019 also marked an additional time slot for the show. Mortgage Gumbo now airs every Saturday on 99.5 and iHeartRadio from 9am – 10am, then again from 1pm – 2pm. Now you can enjoy a little Gumbo for breakfast and lunch!
We have also been extremely blessed to be able to give back to our local community. Our partnership with the Marine Toys for Tots program collected over 500 gifts for children this Christmas. Our inaugural Help-A-Hound event went off without a hitch, and we were able to team up with the Northshore Humane Society to find 13 dogs their forever homes. Also, I was honored to answer the phones for the St. Jude Radiothon where many of you from the Gumbonation called in to donate. So, a tremendous thanks to everyone because you helped make all this possible.
It is safe to say that 2019 has been a year for the books, and we have so much more in store for you in 2020! From everyone here at Mortgage Gumbo, have a very safe and Happy New Year!
